I was a creative child, always encouraged to draw and paint,  and my love of art followed me into adulthood. I've always enjoyed exploring new ways of self expression and art mediums. Whether drawing, oil painting, sewing a cloth doll, printing, or sculpting with clay, I infuse everything I do with a genuine dose of love. You can see it in my work and feel it when you hold a piece of sculpture in your hands.

    My work is based on the premise that art is something to bring you joy. I try to do that with each piece I create.

I worked for several years as an illustrator and designer in a screenprinting shop, then went on to work as a freelance illustrator, creating wildlife designs for national companies such as Ducks Unlimited and The Nature Conservancy. I began working as a clay artist several years ago, and have loved it ever since.

I'm living on the Florida Gulf Coast now, and the warmth and sunshine encourages my playful and happy artwork.  My work exists to delight the eye and feed the soul. I love it when someone exclaims that my work is "so cute" or "charming".  There's a place for all kinds of art in this world and mine is to make people happy.
